About Us

Our Story

Gerdts Family Farms in New Prague, we’re more than just farmers—we’re caretakers of the land, animals, and the food we share with our community. As a small, family-run farm, we’re passionate about growing and raising food the right way: naturally, responsibly, and full of heart.

Our farm is home to a diverse mix of goodness. We grow various seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs, all nurtured without synthetic chemicals and with a strong commitment to sustainability.

Alongside our produce, our Jersey cows are a treasured part of our farm family. Their rich, creamy milk is the foundation of our wholesome dairy products, which are made with respect for animal welfare and a focus on quality over quantity.

We also raise pasture-raised meat chickens and laying hens, catering both tender, flavorful chicken and farm-fresh eggs. Our birds are raised humanely with access to sunshine, fresh air, and natural forage, resulting in healthier animals and better food on your table.
